Ok, so I found out early this a.m. that I am “IT”! LOL… My sweet blogging buddy, Wanda, over at The Watered Soul decided to tag me in an “answer these 8 questions about yourself” kinda game! Because she’s Wanda and I love her blog so much, I am going to join in the fun! The 8 questions she created for me and 7 others are listed below. So, here goes:
- What is your favorite season? Spring. I love the Spring, because it represents birth, newness, and color to me. Everything (and everyone, lol) begins to thaw out; flowers begin to bloom; trees and grass are green again. Oh, and I was born in the Spring, as well. Enough said! 🙂
- What phrase do you find yourself saying like your parents, although you thought you’d never be caught repeating such words? That’s easy. “Back when I was growing up…” O M G!!! LOL!!! Just said it to some young folks recently. Yes, what can I say? I have now reached the “back when I was growing up…” age.
- What was your first or favorite Christmas gift that you received? My favorite Christmas gift that I can remember was a Life Application Study bible I received from my younger sister and her husband. I was so sad when that bible fell apart. Today, as I think back on that gift, I believe it may have awakened my love for studying God’s word (Kinda like Christopher Cross’ hit song “Sailing” awakened my love for music!). And I love bibles, y’all! I could buy a new one every week. (Just bought one a couple of weeks ago.) Hmmm…. that’s pretty interesting.
- Which are you more likely to do: sing karaoke, bungee jump, or speak to a large crowd? Speak to a large crowd
- When driving do you go the speed limit, just a wee bit over the limit, or make sure you just a little bit under the speed limit? You mean there’s a limit??? LOL….. Ok, I confess. I would fall in the “just a wee bit over the limit” category. I’m much better than I used to be, though.
- Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give to your younger self? It’s very important to learn what God says about you and who you are as early as possible.
- Besides the Bible, what book has had a great impact on your life? Wanda probably could guess the answer to this one from a previous email chat we’ve had. 🙂 The title of the book is If You Want to Walk on Water You’ve Got to Get Out of the Boat, by John Ortberg. I’d love to meet him to say, “Thanks”.
- What’s something you would include on your bucket list? To visit all 50 states in the country.
Now, technically, I believe the rest of the rules were to make up 8 questions of my own and tag 8 other bloggers. Unfortunately, I don’t even have 8 other bloggy friends, so I guess I’ll have to toss the ball in your court. Yes, you! If you feel so inclined (no pressure, of course), feel free to take the 8 questions above and answer them in the comments section. I’ve listed them again below to make it easy for you! Enjoy!

My sister has told me that I don’t need to buy another one….lol. But I’m so want a copy of The Message Bible. I’ve found that at different season of my life certain translation are my favorite go to Bible. Oh and I want to visit all 50 states too. Have a great week!
I guess birds of a feather BLOG together! LOL… We’re going to hit all 50 states, girl! I hope you have a great week, too!
